westernwishlist [dot] com - Your guide to online Christmas shopping
Just check out the girl with the boots holding the presents. Don't you just love her? I do...
Of course Whiskey Creek Designs had an ad (yes, I designed it...hehehe). But there are some other sites WCD might just be shopping from too!
Check out Cowgirl Chickcessories! She's got some fabulous rings, belts and cuffs!
Of course we want to spread a little wholesome tasty goodness cheer this year! Check out this fab granola from Cowgirl Granola. Their motto: It tastes good and is good for you! I'm sure we could all use a little tasty goodness in our lives this holiday season (as I'm snacking on puppy chow ). (;

Fall time & Decorating
Fall brings a new perspective to decorating in my house. I love fall - the rich colors of the leaves, the natural earthy tones, all are my favorite.
Sunday we decided to have friends over for dinner. I made lasagna, garlic bread and a salad. Since I haven't had a weekend to clean house and tidy up in over the last month, I spent all day Sunday cleaning house in preparation for our guests. While I was cleaning (towards the end), I decided to update the area above the kitchen cabinets. I used my fall leaves, HOME sign, picture frames, wooden pumpkins, milk bottles and a few other wooden items (box and carpenter box).
Here are some pictures of the decorating: (sorry for the lighting)

Here's an idea of some soldered pendants I've come across.

Striking a Cord
John 16:24
I read this daily Bible verse yesterday and it struck a chord with me. There are so many things that I want to do - and this quote reminds me that all I have to do is ask. Whether or not I receive will be God's choice and his will for me.

Oklahoma Organization - Diamond Hats
as they pursue their agricultural endeavors.
Women from all parts of the state are united in an effort to elevate youth in agriculture. Fundraising efforts result in scholarship opportunities, mentoring programs, and contributions to their projects.
Of primary interest in the support of Oklahoma youth in agriculture is the Oklahoma Youth Expo, the "World's Largest Junior Livestock Show". Animals are purchased and scholarships are given to the young people.
2005 was the start-up year for the Diamond Hats. Twenty-eight members joined, and through fundraising efforts,
were able to raise nearly $15,000!
Since our initial year, the Diamond Hats has only continued to grow in membership and contributions made to Oklahoma's agricultural youth.
Mission
To unite Oklahoma women in the promotion and support of youth in agriculture.
Vision
To elevate the high quality of youth in agriculture and their value to Oklahoma communities and business.
Purpose
Having recently learned of this organization, I have taken it upon myself to donate something to this wonderful cause. Having been a student involved in agriculture myself, and continue to do so to this day, I realize the importance of having those scholarships available to continue preparing the youth of our great nation and great state of OKLAHOMA to be future leaders.
Here is the item I will be donating to this year's ball:
I can't decide if I want to donate an OSU necklace too...
I'll let ya know!
-Have a great week

Thursday
Which means?
I won't be making necklaces on any Thursday for a while (unless it is reruns of course).
I kind of miss my girlfriends and vegging out on cookie dough and our infamous dessert we would make. Good times.
-Have a great week!
